Finding cheap books online seems to be a complicated thing for some. This is especially true if you’re in search of copies of a rare textbook or something that is required by school. I recently ran into this issue with some of the grad school requirements that I had to manage on my own. Some schools offer discounted options, but I found that my school’s store isn’t exactly cheap when it comes to getting any sort of literature. That’s not to say they don’t offer a good service, just not a very low cost one for some. It’s with that in mind that I began to look for a source on the web that would provide high service with low prices and ran into a few different things.

First and foremost, you’re going to find that the lowest prices are often times found on Amazon. This does not come without a lot of searching. The reason why they are the lowest is because they allow individual sellers to jump on board and sell through their site. I have managed to sell a few books online through their services and found that my efforts went downhill fast.

I would post a book up that I purchased for $3 and someone else would sell it for $2.99, then it was a race to see who could list their item at the lowest possible price, and that means many of the items that you could possibly want would be listed at $0.01! What does that mean for me? That means that I cannot compete with someone that is going to be giving away their goods, so instead of trying to fight the system, I have removed my listings and opted for another option.

That example is something that I find to be the truth about a lot of things. If you’re a consumer and you’re looking to purchase physical goods, such as hardcovers, paperbacks, comics, or anything else that you would want to read, you can get them for at least a penny! If you don’t believe me, look into it for yourself and you too will become a believer.

Bad Luck

This whole month has been a terrible display of calamity, but with every sour note there comes a good thing. Sure, the financial situation that comes tied to being a professional writer is not always fun, unless your name is Stephen King, and you’re the master of horror, but I am not. As an article writer, affiliate marketer and overall nice guy, I find that things are not as easy as we’d all like them to be. For that reason, I have been neglecting posting a lot of updates on this blog, but I will be increasing the numbers in the near future.

This site was originally about me and my work, but it has a lot of different things thrown into it. So instead of focusing on one topic, I’m going to stick to my guns and throw a lot more updates at the wall and if something sticks, that’s great. If nothing sticks, than that’s ok too. I didn’t start this site to make money, but if some money trickles down, I’d be more than grateful.

I just wanted to throw this post up in case anyone is thinking that the site died. Obviously it hasn’t and I’ll be adding more information, sooner than later.

2 Underrated Heavy Records

If you are still visiting my site here, you’ll know that I’m a huge music fan. Everyday I listen to roughly 10 hours of music and compile playlist after playlist of options that most people don’t really get to hear. I am fortunate at the moment to be working from home and through the job that I have, stick around and listen to a lot of the best tunes. I utilize a Spotify premium account right now and it’s been awesome hearing high definition sounds without having to buy each individual album. The company pays royalties to the bands and artists, albeit a fraction of what they most likely deserve. I can’t help that, but at least I’m not advocating illegally downloading anything.

Today I wanted to update my blog (this hunk of junk) with 2 underrated heavy records that you should listen to and buy. I’ve rediscovered several great records that I know you’re going to love.

Faith No More “The Real Thing” 1989

The mighty alternative band that blended rap, rock, metal, and keyboards long before it was cool, really made a splash with this recording. You’ll get a little bit of everything in terms of notation, with heavy hitting tracks, rap, screeching vocals, and a rhythm section that is just amazing. Every single track is good, and you’ll have melody mixed with rock and roll in a way that you haven’t heard since. Foo Fighters “Foo Fighters” 1995

I first picked up this record when it came out, and my mom & stepdad didn’t like that I was getting into music. Too bad they didn’t know how much alternative music would influence me, my style, and everything about me. That and religion seem to have influenced me more than all other things. Regardless, I love the first Foo Fighters record because of the raw energy, the lyricism, and overall great flow of music. From heavy, hard hitting sounds to punk rock moments, there is so much here. It’s simple, it’s raw, and it just has great overall sound. It’s very much an independent record that brought us a new world of melody after Kurt Cobain died. I especially love “I’ll Stick Around” as if it was an anthem to fans of Nirvana that Dave was going to make sure to leave a lasting legacy while he was living, even if it meant never giving up on music. Making Better Coffee At Home

When it comes to making better coffee at home you most likely have a few ideas that might work for you. The main goal might not be taste, as some people just need the boost of caffeine to wake up in the morning.
