There are currently a lot of cookbooks on the market today, many you don’t even know about. I’m a man, I don’t know a lot about cooking, but I do know about what cookbooks are moving, because I look at bestseller’s list and visit my local bookstore to see what the hype is about. Most recently, I’ve been reading about the greatest cookbooks that are available today, and I wanted to open up a few things to those that are interested. If you’re looking for a cookbook worth buying, here are the top 5 cookbooks available right now.
#5 The Engine 2 Diet by Rip Esselstyn – This book made famous by real firefighters in Texas, is one of the highest praised book going right now. The reason? It works to help lose weight, get ripped, and still be full. It’s a surprisingly easy book to implement in your life, and it’s currently one of the best diet books on the market.
#4 The Pioneer Woman Cooks by Rae Drummond – I’ve been following Rae Drummond’s blog for quite sometime and she can really create a great meal. She brings a sensibility to cooking that is inviting and comforting, without pretense. I found it a blessing to look through what she has, and the book really does push the boundaries without complicating the kitchen. From novice to expert, her recipes really workout great, and are worth checking into.
#3 Vegan Cooking for Carnivores by Quentin Bacon – I used to be vegan, and it was rough for me. However, with this book you can transform your diet into one that is not only compelling, but is truly vegan. You will be full, you will learn how to cook well, and you won’t use any meat or dairy. I found it once again compelling and easy to read, for anyone that wants to tackle healthier living.
#2 The Smitten Kitchen Cookbook by Deb Perelman – Another classic cookbook, although new, I say it’s classic. The pictures will prompt wide eyes and pleasurable squeals as this book goes through some very detailed recipes but with a flare for the gold that you can’t deny is worthwhile.
#1 The Pioneer woman Cooks: Food From My Frontier by Rae Drummond – Rae Drummond once again proves to be a powerhouse chef, and proves it with this down to earth book of recipes. You’ll be hard-pressed not to use this all the time.
